I come from the same background: for years I struggled with yo-yo dieting. I took extreme low calorie and low carb approaches to weight loss and had a fear of food which led to a severe binge eating disorder, energy deficiency, chronic fatigue, headaches, and even anxiety and depression.
I gained and lost the same 30 lbs for a decade doing group fitness and eating too little before I transitioned into the gym and fuelling my body. Over the years I’ve learned that it’s about building a body that works for me rather than against me. I’ve been through the process of unlearning myths and misconceptions of female and diet culture, gone from a beginner to advanced trainee in the gym, gone through all of the struggles and obstacles in my fitness journey and am here to support, relate and never judge.
