Rhiana Buchanan

My name is Rhiana Buchanan, and I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist** with extensive training in Indigenous Social Work, cultural competency, and trauma-informed care. I have worked with Odawa, Potawatomi, and Ojibwe communities, integrating culturally responsive therapy into my practice. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Sexology and will begin a Master’s in the Arts in Mental Health at the University of Guelph in September 2025. With expertise in crisis intervention, mental health program development, and behavioral change, I am committed to providing holistic, evidence-based support. I am excited to be part of the GFIT Wellness team and to help clients achieve lasting emotional well-being.
