Matt continued with GFIT for the rest of the year before moving into a Maintenance Phase, where he successfully managed his progress on his own for the next few years. However, the pandemic brought new challenges, including gym closures and heightened stress, causing him to regain some weight.
In November 2021, Matt reconnected with Coach Guzzi and started another Fat Loss Phase. This time, the process felt easier—his body and mind were primed for the challenge. After another year of focused effort, Matt reached a new level of fitness, feeling stronger, leaner, and happier with his progress.
In 2023, Matt became a GFIT coach, driven to help others experience the same life-changing results he had achieved. For the past year, he has maintained his results in a Maintenance Phase. Recently, Matt handed over the coaching reins to Grant Reid, beginning a new Primer Phase to fine-tune his discipline and prepare for his next transformation.
